Will, I am a cis male who is straight but not narrow (as in minded). I started listening to these pod casts because I’m friends with Jessica Freely (who I am sooo glad is still here and still herself). It’s always an interesting conversation, and it’s like being at one of Jessica’s parties.
I have a niece whose best friend is a trans* man. I’ve had the ability to observe his transition from grade school. I won’t tell you that it’s not been easy, but he at least, has the right team. After reading your post on health care, I wanted you to know that if you are not getting the care and respect that you need, you need to find new doctors. They are out there. Everyone one deserves to be the person they are suppose to be.
